Instrumentation Planner Role
At PTS Advance, we are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Planner to join our team. As an Instrumentation Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating and facilitating instrumentation resources to support our clients' maintenance schedules and execution plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive work packages, including plans, work scopes, drawings, and material specifications, to support maintenance work activities.
- Develop and implement work instructions for installation, repairs, troubleshooting, modification, calibration of instrumentation, and other related equipment.
- Coordinate the planning and tracking of applicable MOC's from initiation to completion.
- Develop minor design drawings and sketches as required to provide engineering details to work packages.
- Prepare cost estimates for materials and labor to meet the need for budget estimates.
- Conduct information gathering and status review sessions to support the development and implementation of work assignments.
- Communicate with offsite vendors and user groups to develop and implement work assignments.
- Assist with preparing daily work schedules and present at maintenance meetings.
- Prepare daily and/or monthly status reports showing the status and progress of work assignments.
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Minimum of 10 years working as an instrument technician and 5 years of planning and/or coordinating instrumentation resources in maintenance or on projects or turnaround in petrochemical facilities.
