Electrical Assembler

Cantrell-Gainco Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electrical components, including harnesses, power supplies, mechanical assemblies, capacitors, and switches.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test electrical components, including harnesses, power supplies, mechanical assemblies, capacitors, and switches.
- Metal fabrication (cut, drill) of electrical enclosure in preparation for wiring.
- Pull/kit components for electrical assembly jobs.
- Perform processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Following established methods and procedures, must be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary to equipment - cut and strip wire, use wrenches and tools associated with assembly processes, be diligent in all aspects of quality.
- Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids.
- Work performed in a shop environment.
- May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process.
- High school diploma.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Basic ability in mechanical aptitude, mathematics, reading, or writing.
- Forklift experience, preferred.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
