Job Title: Industrial Firefighter Paramedic

Rural Metro Fire is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies, providing medical care, and conducting fire suppression activities in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergencies and provide medical care to injured parties
  • Conduct fire suppression activities using hose and nozzle work, hand tools, and other equipment
  • Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance and testing tasks on fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
  • Assist in the maintenance of fire and rescue grounds, facilities, and supplies
  • Perform non-firefighting work tasks, such as working on company records and timecards
  • Function as a team member of a fire company at emergency and non-emergency scenes
Requirements:
  • Class B- Non CDL license (State of Illinois)
  • IL Paramedic certification required
  • CPR/AED certification
  • IL OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Fire II (FF II) certification
  • IL OSFM Hazmat Ops certification (if FF II only)
  • IL OSFM Rope Ops certification (within 12 months of hire)
