Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies, providing medical care, and participating in fire suppression and rescue operations in an industrial facility.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in fire suppression and rescue operations
  • Provide medical care and first aid to injured parties
  • Operate fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and testing tasks on fire and rescue equipment
  • Assist in the maintenance of fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
  • Keep related grounds, facilities, and supplies in a clean, orderly, and useable condition
  • Perform routine non-firefighting work tasks, such as working on company records, timecards, and other related paperwork
  • Function as a team member of a fire company at any emergency or non-emergency scene
  • Meet the physical requirements required to perform firefighting tasks
Requirements
  • Class B- Non CDL license (State of Illinois)
  • IL Paramedic certification required
  • CPR/AED
  • IL OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Fire II (FF II)
  • IL OSFM Hazmat Ops (if FF II only)
  • IL OSFM Rope Ops (within 12 months of hire)
