Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies, providing medical care, and conducting firefighting operations in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in firefighting operations, including stand-by situations and control of fires.
  • Administer first aid and provide medical care to injured parties at their appropriate level of training.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in the maintenance of fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform routine non-firefighting work tasks, such as record-keeping and paperwork.
  • Function as a team member of a fire company at emergency or non-emergency scenes.
Requirements
  • Class B- Non CDL license (State of Illinois)
  • IL Paramedic certification required
  • CPR/AED
  • IL OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Fire II (FF II)
  • IL OSFM Hazmat Ops (if FF II only)
  • IL OSFM Rope Ops (within 12 months of hire)
