Job Summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic/Firefighter to join our team in Montgomery. As a critical member of our emergency response team, you will provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter level, adhering to Illinois Department of Public Health and EMS Commission of Illinois guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care and transportation for patients, utilizing your Paramedic License and Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification.
  • Collaborate with other emergency responders to ensure effective patient care and transportation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and certifications.
Requirements
  • Paramedic License
  • Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
  • 1 year of experience in emergency medical services
  • CPR Certification
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License
  • ACLS and PALS certifications (Metro will provide training)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
