Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of firefighting and paramedic skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in fire suppression and rescue operations in an industrial facility
  • Administer first aid and provide medical care to injured parties
  • Operate fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain fire and rescue equipment and keep related grounds, facilities, and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform routine non-firefighting work tasks, such as record-keeping and paperwork
Requirements
  • Class B Non-CDL license (State of Illinois)
  • IL Paramedic certification
  • CPR/AED certification
  • IL OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Fire II (FF II) certification
  • IL OSFM Hazmat Ops certification (if FF II only)
  • IL OSFM Rope Ops certification (within 12 months of hire)
