Job Summary

Rural Metro Fire is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies, participating in fire suppression and rescue operations, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in fire suppression and rescue operations
  • Administer first aid and provide patient care
  • Operate fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment
  • Perform routine non-firefighting work tasks
  • Function as a team member of a fire company at emergency and non-emergency scenes
Requirements
  • Class B- Non CDL license (State of Illinois)
  • IL Paramedic certification required
  • CPR/AED
  • IL OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Fire II (FF II)
  • IL OSFM Hazmat Ops (if FF II only)
  • IL OSFM Rope Ops (within 12 months of hire)
