Job Summary

Rural Metro Fire is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Firefighter Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies, participating in fire suppression and rescue operations, and providing medical care to those in need.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in fire suppression and rescue operations
  • Administer medical care to injured parties at their appropriate level of training
  • Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain fire and rescue apparatus, tools, and equipment in good operating condition
  • Perform routine non-firefighting work tasks, such as record-keeping and paperwork
  • Work effectively as a team member of a fire company at emergency or non-emergency scenes
Requirements
  • Class B- Non CDL license (State of Illinois)
  • IL Paramedic certification required
  • CPR/AED certification
  • IL OSFM Basic Operations Firefighter (BOF) or Fire II (FF II) certification
  • IL OSFM Hazmat Ops certification (if FF II only)
  • IL OSFM Rope Ops certification (within 12 months of hire)
