POSITION SUMMARY:


As the Marketing Operations Specialist for our Global Marketing Team, you will be instrumental in facilitating effective marketing processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include the organization and execution of events across the United States, such as boat shows and high-end gatherings, while also assisting the marketing team in developing promotional materials and analyzing digital marketing strategies.

We are looking for a highly organized, versatile individual who excels in various facets of marketing communications and is adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Your role will encompass event management, merchandise oversight, social media engagement, website updates, newsletter creation, database communications, analytics, reporting, branding initiatives, and client presentations.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, strong time management skills, and the capacity to perform well under pressure are crucial. You will be a collaborative team member with a strong desire for professional growth.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event Coordination:

Ensure the seamless execution of US events that align with the global marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Establish and adhere to efficient event processes to guarantee timely and budget-conscious delivery.
Organize invitations, manage visitor registrations, and conduct follow-up tracking and analysis using CRM tools.
Work closely with the US Marketing Manager on event messaging, promotional activities, and logistics for boat shows and exclusive events.
Define event objectives, develop creative concepts, create timelines, plan logistics, secure venues, and oversee event operations.
Manage vendor relationships, including hiring, communication, and daily operations.
Prepare marketing material kits, merchandise, and other on-site resources; manage RSVPs.
Oversee on-site event execution: setup, registration, staffing, and client interactions to ensure a positive experience.
Monitor and evaluate event metrics and feedback for future strategy enhancements.
Stay informed on industry trends to identify new engagement opportunities.
Attend various boat shows and events, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Merchandise Management:
Oversee all aspects of merchandise procurement, ordering, and inventory management.
Propose new branded items for distribution at events and maintain stock lists for the US, ensuring timely reorders.
Research and manage appropriate gifts for key clients.
Supervise merchandise budgets and vendor communications.

Digital and Content Marketing:
Collaborate with Digital and Yacht Marketing Strategists to compile digital promotional content for Fraser's US fleet.
Update the company website with new images, content, and landing pages. Manage website updates in the CMS, including event, builder, and destination pages. Oversee announcements of new hires and their publication on the website.

Marketing Reporting:
Maintain regular reporting for all yachts in the US fleet.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies based on report findings.

General Marketing Support:
Assist the marketing team with various projects, including marketing administration, event planning, digital and social media coordination, and other duties as required.

JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential Skills:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Fluent English in both oral and written forms; proficiency in additional languages (French, Spanish) is a plus.

Previous experience in organizing and managing events is essential. Strong copywriting skills are required. Understanding of core marketing and communication messaging and effective client engagement strategies is necessary. Proficient knowledge of social media and digital platforms, including production, publishing, scheduling, analytics, and multimedia content creation tools. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; video editing skills are a bonus. Strong ability to work under pressure, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively. Attention to detail and high standards are crucial. Self-motivated and confident in your ability to deliver results.

Work Environment:

Must be able to remain in a sedentary position for extended periods. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as printers and copiers. Occasionally moves, transports, positions, and removes equipment weighing up to 15kg for event materials when necessary. Ability to travel for yacht visits and events is required. Willingness to work after hours and/or weekends during yacht shows and for urgent requests is necessary. Attendance at Fraser Yacht Shows and open house events may be required.
