Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position is essential for maintaining the quality of service in our retail environment. The CSR will report directly to the Store Manager and is responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Employ suggestive selling techniques to boost sales while fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Accurately process transactions using the cash register and adhere to cash handling protocols.
  • Operate various equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with closing procedures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to irregular hours as required.
  • Report any suspicious activities to management and follow established protocols.
  • Participate in mandatory training and orientation sessions.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. as necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry items overhead for short durations.
  • Ability to push and pull with moderate force.
  • Ability to bend and twist as needed throughout the shift.
  • Hand-eye coordination for various tasks, including climbing for signage placement.

Work Environment
  • Primarily indoor work with some exposure to temperature variations.
  • Occasional work in confined spaces.
  • Requires self-direction and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Equipment Utilized
  • Electronic devices including POS systems, store telephones, and other retail equipment.
  • Manual tools for cleaning and maintenance.

Qualifications
