Position Summary

As a Senior Client Success Specialist within the Investor Services division at Empower, your primary focus will be on increasing the financial engagement of our retail clients in the Wealth Management sector. This role emphasizes collaboration, as you will partner closely with each client's assigned Financial Advisor and Planner to gain insights into their needs and objectives, ultimately driving asset growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in a range of financial planning and investment management discussions, from straightforward inquiries to more intricate matters.
  • Success in this position necessitates proactive outreach to existing clients, including conducting portfolio assessments, acknowledging significant milestones, and following up on client events.
  • Provide customized portfolio recommendations and product positioning.
  • Balance asset expansion with exceptional service, offering valuable insights on clients' external accounts to encourage consolidation with Empower while enhancing the client relationship.
  • Implement a remote asset growth strategy utilizing a paperless, branchless, cloud-based framework, ensuring a superior experience compared to traditional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Completion of fingerprinting is required.
  • Possession of FINRA Series 65 registration is mandatory.
  • FINRA Series 7 certification is required.
  • FINRA Series 63 certification is necessary.

Preferred Attributes

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record in working with investors, focusing on asset growth.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to navigate operational complexities.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and services, with the ability to articulate the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Salary Information

The base salary range for this position typically falls between $70,000 and $85,000. This range reflects the standard minimum to maximum base salary for this role in the specified location. Non-sales positions may participate in a bonus program, while sales roles may qualify for additional incentives based on individual performance. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
