The Head of School-Based Therapy Programs is responsible for overseeing therapy personnel across multiple educational sites within the designated area, ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapy services in schools.

This is a full-time position with benefits, supervising therapists in various counties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee program development and management in collaboration with the Senior Director of School-Based Therapy Services.
  • Guarantee effective services that manage behavioral health issues appropriately within the educational system.
  • Lead the School-Based Therapy (SBT) framework, including partnerships, internal referrals, and ongoing grant management.
  • Facilitate team coordination and support the Senior Director of School-Based Therapy Services.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure proper referral processes and integration into the care system.
  • Supervise SBT staff to ensure quality service delivery and effective scheduling.
  • Regularly analyze data related to SBT operations, including financial, quality, and compliance metrics.
  • Engage in Utilization Review (UR) for managing caseloads and care patterns.
  • Direct peer review processes to ensure service quality and foster continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular meetings to maintain open communication among stakeholders.
  • Evaluate staff performance and recommend actions to HR and the Senior Director of Outpatient Services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies and SBT stakeholders.
  • Coordinate training for new and existing staff in collaboration with the Compass Training Institute.
  • Assist in the clinical orientation of new employees.
  • Participate in clinical integration meetings and School-Based Director meetings.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and skills development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Review and co-sign documentation for new staff to ensure compliance with agency standards.
  • Follow up with clients as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
  • Manage daily operations and tasks of supervised staff.
  • Oversee performance development processes.
  • Handle time management and payroll for team members.
  • Ensure progress towards departmental strategic goals.

    A Master's degree is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
  • A valid driver's license and minimum automobile insurance coverage are mandatory.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Missouri is required.
