Position Overview
As a Graduate hire in the ConocoPhillips Real Estate and Facilities Services (REFS) team, you will embark on an engaging job assignment that includes company orientation, field visits, social events, weekly seminars, and opportunities to connect with senior management. You will receive guidance from a supervisor who will provide both formal and informal feedback, along with mentorship to support your personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
As a Real Estate and Facilities Services Graduate, your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Assisting in the maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, backup generators, and fire safety systems.
  • Supporting space management and occupancy planning initiatives that align with ConocoPhillips' business objectives and cultural values.
  • Collaborating with the Move Team Management on significant projects to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Coordinating support services provided by external contractors.
  • Ensuring that assigned properties are maintained safely and effectively.
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  • Prioritizing tasks and activities to meet operational needs and developing weekly schedules with operations and maintenance teams.

Real Estate and Facilities Services Overview

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Distribution, Facilities Management, or a foreign equivalent.
  • Current academic status: Senior or Graduate Student.
  • Expected graduation timeframe: within the next academic year.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Willingness to work in various locations as needed.
  • A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Previous internships or co-op experience in an energy-related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to achieve results through effective planning and execution.
  • Capability to devise practical solutions based on available information and make timely, ethical decisions.
  • Adaptability to respond positively to new challenges and demands.
  • Ability to build strong relationships based on trust and seek collaborative opportunities across organizational boundaries.
