Families in Transition is currently seeking a part-time
IT Support Specialist.

The
IT Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering technical assistance to internal users, managing and prioritizing helpdesk inquiries. Alongside troubleshooting network and hardware challenges, you will be tasked with configuring new software and overseeing application updates.

This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys assisting others and takes pride in delivering exceptional support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve technological issues swiftly to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Install and set up new technology, including operating systems, software applications, laptops, and other hardware.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on computer systems, printers, cameras, and other technical equipment.
  • Manage new user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions for new employees to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors for on-site repairs.
  • Assist in retrieving security camera footage and provide training on security camera usage to staff.
  • Oversee and prioritize helpdesk requests.
  • Engage in in-service training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.

Compensation = $20/hour

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma required. 1-2 years of experience with IT systems. Familiarity with Windows, Mac, and iPhones. General knowledge of troubleshooting internet connectivity, phone systems, network systems, and other office technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher in Information Technology.
