Information Technology Systems Administrator

PRECEPT BRANDS LLC is a prominent player in the wine industry, known for its extensive operations that encompass vineyards, wineries, and tasting rooms. We are currently seeking a skilled Information Technology Systems Administrator to support our Seattle operations. This role is crucial in managing a variety of IT functions that safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of our organizational data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain computer networks and systems, including software applications, VPNs, routers, and other hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and configure network devices to resolve hardware and software challenges.
  • Regularly update antivirus software to protect data and communication channels.
  • Assist employees and management in understanding networking issues, particularly in onboarding new users.
  • Address software and hardware configuration problems for users promptly, either through direct support or system inspections.
  • Manage user accounts by creating, modifying, archiving, and deleting accounts as requested.
  • Deliver efficient and accurate technical support, including desktop assistance, workstation setup, Windows server management, and network appliance maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A technical degree or training with 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Hyper-V, and Network Management is essential.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Partner and A+ are required.
  • Experience with Watchguard firewall is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SQL Database is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

The ideal candidate will exhibit flexibility, professionalism, and a strong motivation to manage multiple tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
