Information Technology Systems Administrator

At Precept Brands LLC, a leading independent wine enterprise in the Northwest, we are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to support our technological infrastructure. This role is essential in safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of our data while managing various IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize computer networks and systems, including software applications, VPNs, routers, and other hardware components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and configure network devices to resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
  • Regularly update antivirus software to protect data and communication channels.
  • Assist employees and management in understanding networking challenges, particularly during user training sessions.
  • Address software and hardware configuration problems for users as needed.
  • Manage user accounts by creating, modifying, archiving, and deleting accounts as requested.
  • Deliver prompt and accurate technical support, including desktop assistance, workstation setup, Windows server management, and maintenance of network appliances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A technical degree or equivalent training with 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Hyper-V, and Network Management is essential.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Partner and A+ are required.
  • Experience with Watchguard firewall is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a strong motivation to manage multiple tasks independently.
