Job Summary

Volarify is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to support medium-voltage infrastructure projects in our Seattle office. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for federal and port facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Design Engineering
    • Perform field surveys to gather information and prepare site assessment reports
    • Prepare electrical schematic designs
  • Project Management
    • Manage multiple large-scale projects involving senior engineers and subconsultants
    • Provide mentorship to design engineers
    • Prepare proposals for clients
    • Develop business with new and existing clients
  • Construction Administration
    • Review and respond to RFIs
    • Review equipment submittals
    • Perform punch walks and prepare punch list reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power and Energy Systems
  • Registered Professional Engineer license required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medium-voltage infrastructure design
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
  • Prior experience working on federal or port projects
