Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Coordinator II to join our team at San Jose State University. As an Administrative Support Coordinator II, you will provide administrative support to the Child & Adolescent Development Department and the Educational Leadership Department.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of clerical and administrative support duties, including front desk support, answering phones, and greeting visitors.
  • Track and order office supplies, manage mail distribution, and assist with budget responsibilities.
  • Provide administrative support to the departments, including preparing and processing student paperwork and maintaining office records.
  • Assist with the coordination of student assistants and provide action and guidance in areas of office operations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three years of related office work experience.
  • Completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and make independent decisions.
