Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
  • Maintain Controlled Medication and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, maintain controlled medication, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Implement Business Solutions: Identify business needs, determine necessary processes and practices, and implement solutions to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Model Customer Service Approaches: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints and issues, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  • Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures: Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations, and support efforts to enforce compliance.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy License: Hold a current and valid pharmacy license in the state of practice.
  • Education and Training: Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP), and completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
