Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Office 365 System Engineer to join our team at Michigan Farm Bureau. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Office 365 tenant, ensuring the stability and security of our Microsoft 365 environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the Office 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and other O365 services.
  • Perform regular service reviews, configuration, and optimization to ensure the platform's stability and security.
  • Manage document retention standards according to policy.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation of the Office 365 environment.
  • Provide tier 2/3 support for Office 365-related issues and incidents.
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize Office 365 tools and services.
  • Implement and manage security policies and configurations to protect the Office 365 environment.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Plan and execute migrations to Office 365 from on-premises or other cloud platforms.
  • Integrate Office 365 with other enterprise applications and systems as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Office 365 environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for administration and automation tasks.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance requirements related to Office 365.
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
