About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Retail Associate and Chocolate Expert to join our team at Dandelion Chocolate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chocolate Excellence: Develop in-depth knowledge of our chocolate products, including ingredients, production processes, and flavor profiles. Use this expertise to make recommendations to customers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Guest Service: Provide timely, professional, and friendly service to customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. Develop long-standing relationships with customers and create a loyal customer base.
  • Systems & Processes: Identify opportunities to improve operating procedures, checklists, and documentation to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with the team to implement changes and ensure seamless execution.
  • Team-player: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and provide support during peak periods. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Great Interpersonal Skills: Develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management. Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Previous Experience: 1-2 years of retail or customer-facing work experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience making espresso drinks is a plus.
  • Availability: Some evening and weekend availability is required. Approximately 24 hours per week.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable walking, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting (25 lbs) throughout the 8-hour shift.
  • Language Skills: Fluent spoken English is required. Additional language skills are a plus as we frequently host guests from all over the world.
