Job Summary

ROGERCO, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content for our social media accounts, developing a social media strategy to achieve our communications objectives, and providing training to our team on social media best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and curate engaging content for our social media accounts, including posts, graphics, and videos.
  • Develop a social media strategy to achieve our communications objectives and monitor our social media accounts to ensure compliance with our protocol.
  • Provide training to our team on social media best practices, including online conduct and the UCMJ.
  • Forecast events and upcoming campaigns that require graphics and videos to support and request their creation.
  • Take photos and videos of our team's activities for use on social media pages and in printed products.
  • Engage with relevant influencers and followers to increase our online presence.
  • Provide social media analytic reports and insights to stakeholders for monthly reporting.
  • Brief prospective commanding officers and collateral duty public affairs officers on social media best practices and Navy-wide policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor our team's social media pages to ensure compliance with our social media protocol.
  • Curate content for our web team to post regarding our team's activities.
  • Process and release official Navy photos to DVIDS.
Qualifications
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a large organization.
  • Experience with photography and videographer production and post-production techniques.
  • Active SECRET clearance.
