Job Overview

The Retail Sales Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that our customers enjoy a positive shopping experience. This position involves greeting customers warmly, utilizing our proprietary consultative approach to help them find the right products to meet their health and wellness goals. The Associate is expected to be actively engaged in all assigned tasks during working hours and may be required to perform various functions throughout the store as business needs dictate. Additional responsibilities may arise in specific situations to support our customer service and operational objectives. This role is classified as non-exempt.

Key Responsibilities

Our top-performing Associates excel in the following areas:

Team Collaboration

  • Attend all weekly team meetings with attendance tracked by the Manager.
  • Identify one potential Brand Ambassador or future employee each quarter, reporting findings in team meetings.
  • Lead a monthly team meeting with support from the Manager.

Sales and Customer Service

  • Engage all customers using our consultative sales process.
  • Complete the Associate Training Program and uphold the company’s customer service standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback on co-worker sales performance in the absence of the Manager.

Operational Duties

  • Accurately prepare cash drops at the end of each business day, ensuring they match the sales report.
  • Complete the end-of-day closing checklist and sign off on nightly tasks.
  • Clock in and out daily with zero discrepancies on the weekly payroll report.
  • Learn and execute store deposit procedures weekly.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and maintain store cleanliness.

Marketing Initiatives

  • Contribute to social media efforts as directed by the marketing team.
  • Organize monthly product demonstrations with the Manager.
  • Prepare personalized thank-you cards for customers daily.

Qualifications

  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter, capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to meet administrative goals and deadlines to enhance store efficiency.
  • Commitment to providing superior customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to utilize store equipment effectively.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing more than 25 pounds.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (required).

Preferred Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with retail Point-Of-Sale systems.

Compensation: $11.00/hour
