Accounting Director

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial information, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and driving business growth through effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to support business growth and strategic objectives.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Financial Systems: Manage and maintain financial systems, including accounting software and other financial tools, to ensure efficient and accurate financial processing.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to ensure effective financial operations and achieve business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.
- Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, with proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Work Environment: Normal office environment with occasional travel required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional lifting and movement of up to 25 pounds.
