Job Opportunity

Action Target Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our International Business Development Team, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales goals by responding timely and efficiently to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and explain the operation and use of ATI products to customers.
  • Assist International Territory Directors in project management of all won bids and help secure all key players involved are performing according to agreed terms.
  • Become proficient in quoting potential projects, requiring a thorough understanding of each Action Target product and the ability to work with estimation tools to compile an accurate cost basis.
  • Complete expense reports, sales reports, and miscellaneous paperwork.
  • Study information about new products to provide customers with accurate recommendations about company products and services.
  • Effectively work with the company's different functional teams to provide customers with seamless experiences.
  • Represent the company at industry trade events and travel to site-visits and customer meetings as needed.
  • Advise customers regarding layouts, legal and insurance regulations, cost analysis, contract negotiations, and collection methods for outdoor range sales.
  • Prepare bids and commit orders for customers.
  • Communicate with accounts payable to establish invoicing protocols for unique projects.
  • Assist the shipping department to properly prepare international shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with shipping department to validate shipping costs for each estimation.
  • Ensure contracts with International distribution are up to date.
  • Communicate important customer feedback to proper internal stakeholders.
  • Take and place phone calls to/from customers at the direction of the Team Managers.
  • Hand off warranty and service contacts to After Market Services department.
  • Deal with and respond to high volumes of emails.
  • Assist with establishing travel itineraries for self and International Team Managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) preferred.
  • Two to four years related experience, especially in sales and project management.
  • Well-trained on spreadsheets and word processing, Microsoft 365 suite, and familiar with ERP systems.
  • Self-starter with high organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at the same time.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload, strong communication skills, and detail-oriented.
  • Background in Law Enforcement, Military, or construction management a plus.
  • International business experience a plus.
  • Must be able to work alone without supervision and still be effective and get prospecting and job tasks done expeditiously.
  • Willingness to work outside of typical US business hours when needed.
