Position Overview:
Chipton-Ross is in search of a Senior Financial Planner and Analyst to support our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will possess a keen interest in the critical business elements that influence key financial indicators such as earnings, cash flow, orders, and revenue. This role involves continuous evaluation of financial data to understand fluctuations and strategize on achieving optimal business outcomes.

Responsibilities include:
1. Conducting forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, focusing on Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Statistics.
2. Coordinating, preparing, and analyzing various financial reports and data for review.
3. Performing weekly closure analysis and reporting on Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Cash Flow.
4. Developing and maintaining program working capital within the forecasting system.
5. Collaborating with program finance to create monthly forecasts and conducting variance analysis for program cash.

The candidate will also:
1. Analyze variances and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify corrective measures, risks, or opportunities.
2. Prepare and present executive-level presentations tailored for both finance and non-finance audiences.
3. Contribute to the annual operating plan development and conduct monthly balance sheet and cash analysis, including variance analysis.
4. Engage in financial reporting process improvement initiatives.
5. Create tools, templates, and processes to streamline data collection and report preparation, ensuring relevance and detail.

Additionally, the role includes handling ad hoc financial requests as needed.


Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
2. Prior experience with Hyperion Planning & Oracle SmartView is essential.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently.
6. A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
2. Knowledge of general ledger accounting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
