About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at Compunnel Inc. as a Cloud Solutions Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, cloud-native digital enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Build Cloud-Native Applications: Develop highly available, resilient, secure, scalable, and cloud-native digital enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Expertise in Model-Driven Power Apps: Demonstrate deep subject-matter expertise with Model-Driven Power Apps and Power Automate cloud flows.
  • Cloud-Based Event Messaging Systems: Have knowledge of cloud-based, high-stream event messaging systems like Kafka or message queues.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to influence and partner with architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable robust application solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership from ideation to production delivery and support of large-scale, enterprise Power Platform solutions.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Own the outcomes, provide mentorship, and guidance to more junior team members.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer Obsession: Demonstrate customer obsession while balancing delivery speed, product quality, and production stability.
  • Technical Requirements: Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using Microsoft Power Platforms.
  • Communication with Non-Technical Teams: Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.
Requirements
  • Proven Foundation in Software Engineering: Possess a proven foundation in software engineering – bachelor's degree+ preferred, 7+ years of experience with 1+ years of cloud streaming/messaging experience.
  • Expert Knowledge of Model-Driven Power Apps: Demonstrate expert knowledge of Model-Driven Power Apps.
  • Influencing and Partnering: Demonstrate the ability to influence and partner with architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable robust application solutions.
  • Expert Knowledge of Dataverse and Data Aggregation Solutions: Possess expert knowledge of Dataverse and other data aggregation, retention, and analysis solutions like SQL, Snowflake, NoSQL.
  • Lead and Own Analysis, Design, Development, Security, Deployment, and Support: Lead and own the analysis, design, development, security, deployment, and support of solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem (Power BI, Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Scoping of Technical Requirements: Complete scoping of technical requirements, confirming allocated time is correctly sized.
  • Communication and Influencing Skills: Possess superb communication and influencing skills to facilitate collaboration across technology and business partners without having a direct authority over people.
  • Agile Environment: Experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Curious, Motivated, Can-Do Attitude: Demonstrate a curious, motivated, can-do attitude, self-directed, proactive, and results-oriented.
