Position: Senior Software Architect

Stelvio Group is in search of a Senior Software Architect to spearhead our software development initiatives. This pivotal role involves making critical design decisions and establishing technical standards, including coding practices, tools, and platforms. Your primary objective will be to create robust technical frameworks and oversee the development of solutions that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the definition of development processes, from technology selection to coding standards.
  • Design and implement innovative architectural solutions that resonate with business goals and current technology trends.
  • Assess and choose suitable technologies and frameworks to ensure a resilient technology stack.
  • Provide mentorship and technical direction to developers and engineers.
  • Monitor the development team's progress to ensure adherence to the original design.
  • Strategic Development: Grasp organizational needs to outline system specifications and architect software accordingly.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine the technology strategy, ensuring it aligns with company objectives.
  • Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for best practices and frameworks.
  • Solution Design: Lead the creation of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate software or hardware solutions and integration methods.
  • Supervise product development and make high-level design decisions focused on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other professionals (e.g., software developers, product managers) to define functional and non-functional requirements for new applications.
  • Engage closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to maintain architectural integrity and foster innovation.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and mentoring to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software adheres to quality, security, and extensibility standards.
  • Establish architectural guidelines and standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Conduct architecture reviews to validate compliance and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to enhance organizational operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Software Architect or in a comparable senior development role.
  • Proficiency in software development and coding across various languages (C#, .NET, Java, Python, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of software and application design principles.
  • Strong familiarity with UML and other modeling techniques.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design principles.
  • Comprehension of software quality assurance practices.
  • A detail-oriented technical mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Working Conditions:
