Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with design and technical teams to develop design deliverables, including drawings and specifications, that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the architectural design process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Management: Interface with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the architectural team.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior architects and designers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects and teams, and proficiency in Autodesk Building Systems Software.
  • Certifications: Architectural License (AIA) required, LEED AP with Specialty or GA preferred, and NCARB Certificate recommended.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's in Architecture: Preferred.
  • Experience with Design-Build: A plus.
  • Experience with SketchUp/Formit: Desirable.
  • Experience with Autodesk Building Systems Software: Demonstrable proficiency required.
