KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop comprehensive software requirements documentation for innovative features and user stories.
  • Oversee the documentation and traceability of software requirements utilizing a requirements management system.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of system-level requirements and workflows to ensure software requirements are thorough and accurate.
  • Provide technical guidance in formulating strategies and selecting software designs, technologies, and frameworks that align with system needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to synchronize interrelated designs and ensure timely project completion.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during discussions and evaluations of testing deliverables within the team.
  • Identify and analyze test failures; conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective and preventive measures for current and future challenges.
  • Engage actively with cross-functional teams to establish effective testing strategies.
  • Serve as a principal reviewer for technical deliverables from various teams, including software development, systems engineering, and software quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance of all product development activities and outputs with company and regulatory standards, including those set by relevant health authorities.
  • Exhibit familiarity with Agile methodologies to support an iterative approach to test development, execution, and deployment.
  • This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or software engineering.
  • Strong grasp and application of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in addressing software design challenges; conducting trade studies; developing design specifications; creating software for electromechanical systems; and guiding the design, implementation, and testing of software or systems.
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
