Buyer Role Overview

The Buyer is responsible for acquiring necessary equipment, tools, components, supplies, or services to facilitate the production of electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established protocols and training to procure high-quality commodities and services at competitive prices.
  • Possess a strong understanding of typical lead times and supplier options.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and is accountable.
  • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and collaborate with vendors to address any issues.
  • Assist production efforts by placing timely and precise orders to guarantee quality and punctual delivery.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet manufacturing demands.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs and maintain productivity over extended periods.
  • Competence in using computer systems, particularly Microsoft Windows and relevant software applications.
