Position Overview: This role encompasses a variety of financial responsibilities, including managing accounts payable, processing travel reimbursements, and overseeing procurement activities. Additionally, the position requires providing customer service and technical assistance related to financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform job functions with minimal oversight
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in designated financial areas
  • Review financial statements to ensure adherence to regulations
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and transactions
  • Implement the Agency's travel policy for payment submissions
  • Facilitate employee travel expense reimbursements
  • Oversee procurement processes for the Region and State Hospital
  • Manage inventory documentation
  • Handle payment processing and account entries
  • Generate financial reports
  • Contribute to budget data preparation
  • Assess documents for compliance
  • Assist individuals in securing valuables at the Business Office
  • Prepare operating receipts for the facility

Important Note: This position may be closed once a suitable pool of candidates is established.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution is required.

Additional Information: State law requires a national and state background check for this position.
