Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the procurement of all non-commodity goods and services for all ADM entities affiliated in the Procurement Hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Purchase Order queries and follow up with vendors as required.
  • Collaborate with plant purchasing to adhere to strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of Strategic Sourcing contracts and ensure 100% compliance with the Global Non-Commodity Procure-to-Pay Policy.
  • Track Procure-to-Pay metrics (POs before invoice, PO cycle time, on-time delivery, PO consolidation, and others) and collaborate with location colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive enhanced supplier relationship management through regular collaboration with the Division Operations supply base.
  • Assist in sourcing projects as needed and partner with the Shared Services team to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices.
  • Support 1ADM standardization efforts and programs, identify and pursue opportunities for cost reduction, and provide guidance in the development of aggressive cost reduction goals.
  • Timely and accurate review of all submitted Purchase Requisitions (PR) and conversion into Purchase Orders (PO) across all ADM locations.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments on purchasing matters, including the scheduling of orders, selection of products, and similar or related issues.
  • Resolves issues related to delivered quantity discrepancies, pricing, logistics, and contracts, etc.
  • Address any and all invoices assigned to the Buyer.
