Job Summary:
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Support Specialist to join the Biology Instructional Office team. As a key member of our team, you will provide support for undergraduate biology courses, working closely with faculty and staff to ensure the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses, providing support to students and faculty as needed.
- Develop and implement instructional materials and resources to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and deliver effective instructional programs.
- Provide administrative support for the Biology Instructional Office, including data entry, record-keeping, and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. biology, education, communications).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
