Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global communications strategy that aligns with the goals and objectives of Family Planning 2030
  • Lead a team of communications professionals to develop and execute a range of communications products and activities, including media relations, social media, and content creation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and partners
  • Develop and manage the UN Foundation's brand and messaging around family planning and reproductive health
  • Oversee the development of communications materials, including press releases, op-eds, and social media content
  • Collaborate with the UN Foundation's Global Communications and Engagement team to ensure alignment and consistency in communications efforts
  • Represent the UN Foundation at international events and conferences related to family planning and reproductive health
Requirements
  • Masters degree in communications, journalism, international relations, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, with a focus on global health and development
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies
  • Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed
Benefits and Compensation

The UN Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
