Clinical Reimbursement Specialist

The Clinical Reimbursement Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for patient services at Northeast Division facilities. This position requires a registered nurse with active state licensure and experience in MDS and RAI.
Key Responsibilities- Review patient records and clinical care programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
- Maintain professional relationships with associates, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information.
- Understand and follow company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
- Assist in patient evacuation and maintain a safe working environment.
- Exhibit dependable attendance and concentration skills.
- Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Perform physical tasks, including sitting, standing, and lifting, as required.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
