The Edinburg Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and serious emotional and behavioral health disturbances.
Key Responsibilities- Engage young adults in the intake process, completing all required assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Meet the unique needs of individuals through assessment, safety planning, coaching, psychoeducation, skill building, and connections to informal and formal supports.
- Provide guidance to support staff in relation to the implementation of clinical goals.
- Conduct ongoing safety assessments, planning, and care coordination.
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Education with a Clinical Concentration (or related field).
- On the path to licensure, with licensure preferred.
- Experience working with youth and/or young adults with ASD and serious emotional and behavioral health disturbances.
- A flexible schedule and valid MA driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Strong documentation and clinical writing skills, with the ability to work quickly and intensively to meet the unique needs of individuals.
- Bilingual/bicultural experience.
- Experience working with youth with behavioral challenges.
- Lived experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) models.
