We are currently in search of a Lead VMware Systems Administrator. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of virtualized systems hardware, software, and associated customer infrastructures. This dynamic position involves collaboration with talented professionals, engaging in technical research and development to foster ongoing innovation within the client's environment.

Key Qualifications for the Lead VMware Systems Administrator:

  • Minimum of 3 years of administration experience with VMware Horizon (now Omnissa) Infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale virtualization clusters with numerous VMs per cluster.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with physical and virtual switch/router/firewall components (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and adeptness in troubleshooting intricate network issues.
  • 3+ years of substantial experience in hardware and Microsoft Server OS management within a networked setting.
  • Familiarity with email filtering solutions such as Sophos, Mimecast, or Microsoft.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor project team members and fellow System Administrators.
  • Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is highly desirable.
