Job Summary:

CAPTRUST is seeking a seasoned Executive Leader to lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers within the organization. This role involves setting best practices, driving project management excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of projects across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Project Managers, provide guidance, coaching, and development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of best practices and innovative project management techniques.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and create individualized development plans for team members.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the PMO, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and tools across the team.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices, templates, and standards to enhance efficiency and consistency, also identify areas for process improvement within the PMO and drive initiatives to increase effectiveness and productivity.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with senior leadership and key stakeholders and facilitate project governance and reporting, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Resolve escalated project-related issues and conflicts, ensuring stakeholders satisfaction and optimize the utilization of project resources, ensuring that team members are effectively deployed on high-priority projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Azure DevOps).
  • 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of CRM applications, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and testing practices.
  • Experience in the investment or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and drive process improvements.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work strategically and execute tactically, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and leading a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
