Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and services to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our care staff.
  • Supervise and Support: Provide supervisory support to our care staff, including taking attendance, managing call-offs, and responding to shift requests.
  • Resident Care: Support our care staff in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to our residents, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
  • Documentation: Accurately document care and services provided to our residents, and review care manager documentation throughout the shift.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies, and monitor team member break schedules and durations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with care staff, community managers, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care and services.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED strongly preferred and may be required per state regulations.
  • Certifications: Medication Management Certificate required; ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and demonstrate leadership competencies.
