Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living communities, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a Senior Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Facilities Management functions in our communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents
  • Develop and implement work assignments for maintenance team members
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Supervise and manage maintenance team members, including recruiting, coaching, and performance management
  • Manage daily department operations, including prioritizing tasks and delegating assignments
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
  • Travel to various locations within a geographic area and on special projects

Qualifications:

  • High proficiency in building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance
  • Experience in maintaining water source heat pumps, as applicable
  • Understanding of OSHA and life safety regulations
  • Supervisory and management experience, including recruiting, coaching, and performance management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
