Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, requiring one day per week in the office.

Required Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in Spring Boot
  • Experience with relational databases

Company Overview and Culture:

  • Recent Developments: The organization has recently integrated Cubix, which operates a legacy system built on Salesforce.

Key Projects:

  • Technology Stack: The modern development primarily utilizes JavaScript.
  • Candidate Focus: We prioritize candidates with strong analytical skills over specific technical expertise.
  • Role Responsibilities: The selected individual will engage with both the legacy product (utilizing Java) and the contemporary product (utilizing JavaScript). Essential qualities include adaptability, multitasking capabilities, and a willingness to learn and contribute. Initially, the candidate will focus on one platform until they gain familiarity.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile: We are looking for a flexible, intelligent, and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives in a team environment.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Legacy Stack Tools: PostgreSQL, Java
  • Preferred Background: Experience in any programming language (e.g., Ruby on Rails, C#) is advantageous. Familiarity with AWS is essential for both platforms, which utilize smaller containerized services.

Position Specifications:

  • Duration: Preference for a long-term/full-time commitment; open to contract-to-hire arrangements based on the candidate.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Staff Level: 10+ years of experience, ideally in startup environments or with FANG companies.
