We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations, managing survey equipment, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead and manage survey field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of survey equipment, including instruments, software, and vehicles.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in surveying technology, and best practices to ensure our team remains at the forefront of the field.
- Technical Skills: Perform complex calculations, analyze survey data, and prepare detailed reports, drawings, and maps for transportation construction projects.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Carlson, Topcon Magnet, Bentley OpenRoads Designer & Geopak software.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of surveying experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Licenses and Certifications: Registered Land Surveyor license in Tennessee or the ability to obtain one.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
