Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Marmon Holdings, Inc. as a key member of our operations leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production team, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Ensure all employees are trained and equipped to work safely and efficiently.
  • Staffing and Training
    • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance operator skills and knowledge.
    • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing coaching and feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with HR to address employee relations, benefits, and other personnel matters.
  • Operations and Quality
    • Oversee the production process, ensuring timely completion of schedules and adherence to quality standards.
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures to minimize defects and scrap.
    • Collaborate with engineers and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment and process issues.
  • Productivity and Lean Initiatives
    • Promote and support the company's Lean program, engaging operators in lean activities and training.
    • Develop and implement visual standards for 5S and Good to Go.
    • Lead team in conducting periodic 5S audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Organizational Excellence
    • Organize work centers to achieve maximum efficiency, providing necessary tools and resources.
    • Reduce material handling and optimize workflows to improve productivity.

You will also need to be highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
