Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a friendly and knowledgeable individual to fill the role of Cannabis Retail Consultant. In this position, you will be tasked with delivering outstanding customer service, providing product insights, and assisting clients with their cannabis-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement: Welcome customers warmly, aiming to create a positive shopping atmosphere. Offer precise information regarding our products, including strains, effects, and consumption methods. Help customers select the right products tailored to their preferences.

2. Product Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates. Stay informed about industry developments and research. Educate customers on available options and guide them based on their desired experiences.

3. Sales Techniques: Effectively promote products by emphasizing special promotions, new arrivals, or exclusive items. Encourage cross-selling and upselling to enhance the customer experience and boost sales.

4. Transaction Management: Process cash and credit transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales.

5. Inventory Oversight: Organize product displays and maintain cleanliness on the sales floor. Restock items as necessary and conduct regular inventory assessments.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Follow all legal and company protocols, including age verification and identification checks, to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.

7. Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside colleagues to achieve shared objectives. Communicate effectively and support one another in delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 21 years old.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous.

- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for cannabis products and consumption methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling are preferred.

- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor in challenging situations.

- Must adhere to all state and local regulations governing cannabis sales.
