Position Overview

The Human Resource Consulting Group, LLC (HRCG) is a distinguished, woman-owned firm specializing in Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, based in Connecticut, serving clients nationwide. Since 1989, we have established a reputation for delivering exceptional, personalized client service in human resource consulting, payroll processing, and benefits administration.

We are in search of a dedicated HCM Software Technology Trainer to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in equipping our clients and their employees with the skills necessary to effectively utilize the iSolved HCM software platform. The Trainer will be responsible for consistently developing, designing, and delivering high-quality virtual training sessions.

In addition, this position involves creating training materials and recorded virtual sessions for ongoing client use. The Trainer will report to the Operations team and will be part of the training division. This is a remote, salaried exempt role with a flexible schedule tailored to our clients' needs. Training sessions are typically scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel required.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop course materials for virtual group and individual training sessions focused on the features and functionalities of iSolved HCM.
  • Create, record, and produce engaging online training videos.
  • Maintain and update content for our YouTube channel.
  • Introduce clients to new functionalities in iSolved through documentation, webinars, and tailored group training.
  • Ensure all training documents are current and relevant.
  • Manage the training calendar and facilitate online bookings.
  • Effectively communicate complex iSolved concepts to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Utilize iSolved University to become a subject matter expert in payroll, HR, and benefits administration.
  • Support the sales team by conducting demonstrations of HCM products to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with staff from Payroll Processing, HR Administration, Benefits Administration, and Implementation.
  • Conduct needs assessments for clients to identify future training requirements.
  • Encourage clients to expand their use of iSolved technology.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with virtual team members.
  • Host monthly internal webinars to share updates on new releases with team members.
  • Provide training to internal staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the HR, Payroll, and Benefits sectors.
  • Experience in developing and delivering virtual training using contemporary technology.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement training materials and courses for software support.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach.
  • Highly motivated with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Skilled in engaging with diverse personality types and learning styles.
  • Proficient in screen-sharing technology and knowledgeable in creating and storing video training content, as well as utilizing interactive tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with iSolved software.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Possession of a college degree.
  • Previous certifications in payroll, accounting, technology, or training.
