Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at TXNM Energy. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our large, complex, and influential customers in the utility industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within our customer base.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on utility pricing, rate design, engineering, and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, account management, community management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of utility pricing, rate design, engineering, and regulatory principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
