As a Development and Partnerships Manager at Free Press, you will play a critical role in securing institutional gifts and cultivating deep relationships with foundations and donors. Working closely with the Senior Director Foundation Partnerships, you will drive fundraising goals and collaborate with the development team to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, focusing on prospect research and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with the development team to create engaging content, proposals, and reports that showcase the impact of Free Press's work.
  • BUILD strong relationships with funders, donors, and stakeholders to secure support for our mission.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in the field of fundraising.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of securing institutional gifts and building successful partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
