Hillel International seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Associate Vice President, Community Partnerships. This key role will be responsible for fostering interest in shared missions that result in new shared programs and opportunities advancing the Hillel movement's mission and vision.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will take a lead management role in a portfolio of partner relationships, ensuring relationships and collaborative opportunities are maximized for shared outcomes.
  • Representing Hillel International at events, meetings, and gatherings, this individual will serve as a voice for Hillel International when collaborating with external partners.
  • In partnership with content area leaders, they will advance partnerships for the movement.
  • This strategic leader will develop and implement strategies to bring new partnership opportunities to the movement, supporting our goals and initiatives.
  • They will position Hillel leaders for meetings with key partners, preparing necessary materials in collaboration with various teams.
  • This individual will establish and lead a 'convener strategy' to engage key partner organizations and elevate Hillel's presence externally at key partner convenings.
  • Developing a cohesive approach to partnership communications, they will ensure regular messaging and updates in collaboration with the Philanthropy and Communications teams.
  • Serving as a central point of contact, they will ensure timely communication with campus Hillels regarding partner strategies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional work experience.
  • At least 5 years of partnership work as a central function of their job.
  • A deep understanding of Jewish values, traditions, and culture.
  • Experience navigating the global Jewish ecosystem and associated government agencies.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain strong relationships, collaborate, influence, and impact outcomes.
